I had been trying to get the people at Los Alamos and Sandia to recognize that there was a serious problem with zeolite stability if heat generating wastes were emplaced below the water table at Yucca Mountain. They thaught I was being disloyal and stopped sending me to meetings. So I wrote this paper and submitted it and sent it through for internal review at the same time. The next day I was looking for another job. What does this tell you about scientific intergrety at the National Labs?
