Hi,

Welcome to my travel page. Given below are some links to photo essays on some of the places I have visited. Most are recent, however some of the climbing trips are from as long ago as the 1970s.

I spent Spring and Summer of 1999 in Europe, working at the Bayerisches Geoinstitut in Bayreuth, Germany.
I was also back in Germany in June, 2000 and May/June, 2001.

Bayreuth is a small city of about 100,000 people in northern Bavaria.
It has a nice pedestrian area in the center, shown here in winter.

I used to do some climbing so here are some pics of the Bugaboos in Canada.
 

I also did a climb on Mt Deborah in Alaska
It was very scary.
