Here is another view of the town. There are no traffic lights, no Winnebagos, no paved streets, no Buicks, and no churches.
We get some strong winds here. The original town was about three miles west, but it blew down in 1878. They found many of the larger pieces in a somewhat more sheltered spot so that's where they rebuilt the town.
We had a windstorm a few weeks ago and my neighbor's outhouse blew into the middle of Main Street. We're hoping he doesn't decide to rebuild there.
